NEDAERO acquires AD-S&Co
NEDAERO’s MRO business expanded by AD-S&Co acquisition
ZEVENAAR, Tuesday January 10, 2017 – NEDAERO Group , Dutch manufacturer and MRO specialist of aerospace components in Zevenaar and Avio-Diepen Holding in Alphen aan den Rijn have finalized their agreement regarding the acquisition of supply chain provider and helicopter parts and components distributor AD-S&Co as per January 1st, 2017.
General Manager Ruud Kleinendorst of NEDAERO is very pleased with the reinforcement through the acquisition of AD-S&Co: “Both AD-S&Co and NEDAERO are leading players in the aerospace industry. We already possess a strong synergy, and now offer a wider range of services and serve a broader clientele.”
Vincent van Campen, President of Avio-Diepen: “This is an excellent opportunity for AD-S&Co. Their core business differs with Avio-Diepen’s whom recently merged with Kapco Global. However, the core business of NEDAERO perfectly matches with the activities of AD-S&Co. NEDAERO and AD-S&Co have a lot in common and their services complement one other. Furthermore, both companies know each other well, as they both stem from the Schreiner company.”
During the first quarter of 2017, further integration will take place. The AD-S&Co name and all services will continue under the name NEDAERO, and employees will move into a new location.
With this acquisition, NEDAERO’s product portfolio will be expanded through specialists in the field of supply chain management solutions and distribution of spares to operators and MRO’s worldwide. An extensive distribution stock and exchange pool will ensure direct delivery. Not only logistic support to helicopters and military aviation is in place, but NEDAERO will also offer comprehensive expertise to support military government organizations and private military MRO’s.
